When will my results be ready?

Blood, urine, or swab tests: Please wait 5 to 7 working days before contacting us.

X-rays, scans, and other radiology tests: These can take longer to be processed and sent back to the surgery.
How to get your results
1. View them instantly online (Recommended)
Once a doctor has reviewed your results, they will be uploaded to your online record. You can view them securely at any time:

On the NHS App * Via the NHS website
⚠️ Please note: We do not send test results via text message.
2. Call the surgery
If you cannot access the NHS App, you can call us to obtain your results. To help us keep our phone lines clear for urgent morning bookings, please only call for results between 10:00am and 1:30pm.

Call the main surgery number and press Option 3.

Please note: Our team cannot give out test results outside of these hours, and you will be asked to call back during the designated times.
Will you contact me if there is a problem?
We do not routinely contact patients if their test results are normal.
However, if your results are abnormal or require further action/treatment, we will contact you directly by text message or telephone to discuss the next steps.
If you do not hear from us, you can assume no further action is needed.
